 We are pleased to announce our 2018 CAMP PACIFICA Summer Program for deaf and hard of hearing children, their siblings and children of adults who can sign. We are celebrating our 40th year of providing exciting summer camp activities for children throughout California and Nevada. Camp Pacifica located in the Sierra Nevada foothills and is located on Highway 49 between Mariposa and Oakhurst near Ahwahnee.

Our camp program is open to boys and girls seven 7 to 15 years of age. Our Campers in Leadership Training program is for young adults, ages 16 and 17.  All the typical summer camp activities are offered, plus great campfires, evening dances, and twilight programs.  Campers enjoy an outdoor adventure while spending time with swimming, canoeing, horseback riding, arts and crafts, nature studies, field sports, archery, dance, drama and mime.  All counselors are fluent in sign language and have experience working with children. The staff to camper ratio is one (1) Counselor to five (5) campers for our Deaf/Hard of Hearing Camp. Our medical staff is onsite 24 hrs. a day.

Camp cost per camper is $300 plus registration fee of $30.00 per applicant to a maximum of $50.00 per family (multiple applicants).  If you need financial support, please apply ASAP.  Camp Pacifica will send your application to a Lions Club in your area for their respective support.  All fees or a letter of support from a local club are due with your application by June 20th, 2018.  (PayPal is a convenient way to complete your payment schedule or to make full payment before you submitt your completed application). 

There is One (1) session planned this year:

Camp Pacifica Summer Session: Sunday, July 22 - Saturday, July 28th, 2018

Deadline for all Completed Paperwork is Saturday June 20th, 2018

In addition, there will be a late fee of $50.00 per application per applicant and a maximum fee of $100 per family.

Campers and Parents: Please apply early! We are limited to the number of children (120 max) that may attend the single session. Qualified campers are registered on a first come, first service basis until the camp session is filled.

Upon receipt of all the necessary forms you will be contacted and, if your application is accepted, you will receive further Information regarding the camp.
